Looking for a Cycling Challenge?

Meet the Moffat Triskelion: 3 days, 3 circular routes, 250km of stunning southern Scottish road cycling!

The Moffat Triskelion is a self-guided itinerary for a logistics-light, stress free cycling holiday through the stunning landscapes of southern Scotland. The three circular routes North, West and South-East start and finish in Moffat, Dumfriesshire. Following quiet, low-traffic roads each of the three routes showcases the best of the region. We’ve got it all: Mountain passes, winding hill climbs, castles, waterfalls, lochs, a Tibetan Monastery, and the highest altitude village in Scotland! Avoid the summer crowds that clog up the roads of the Lake District and the Scottish Highlands, and explore the wide open roads of the South of Scotland!

So what are you waiting for? Grab three days, your bike, the GPX files, and a sense of adventure – and we will see you at Moffat Hostel in 2026!
